Drag to move. Tap Ctrl + Space, then Shift + Arrow keys to swap panes. F expands a pane to fill the canvas; press it again in layout mode to return.

Drag a pane edge to give your editor more space, or keep your server and tests in view.
Stay on the keys.
Tap Ctrl + Space for layout mode. Arrow keys change focus; J flips the split between side-by-side and stacked. Escape returns to the terminal.
Clear the canvas. Keep the work.
Ctrl + W minimizes a pane into a tab without stopping its shell. Click a tab to bring it back, right where you left off.

Open a Workspace. Bring up a Shell, your editor, or an AI harness. Arrange the panes around what you’re doing.

Keep the right things in view.
Follow an Agent’s progress, check Git, and move between terminals. Stay on the keyboard with layout mode.

Step away. Come back.
Detach the view without ending the Shell. Reattach to the running process when you’re ready—not a replacement terminal.
Detaching is not stopping. Explicitly removing a Shell or stopping the daemon ends its processes.
